Upper Madison Weed Management Area |
Fund six-month position to assist with development of common management objectives with cooperators and agencies, facilitate effective treatment and coordinate efforts within WMA project boundaries to develop education programs; establish prevention strategies, control priorities, and specific weed management objectives; create treatment zones within the WMA; treat individual weed species infestations; coordinate the use of resources and personnel; promote common inventory techniques and mapping; and manage designated noxious weeds in an integrated approach to protect the natural resource base of the region and economy dependent upon it. |
